You did the the my little pony style very in order too.
The fact that you put Princess Luna up against King SOmbra is an original idea that I've never yet seen.
It seems likely that this would happen too.
I love the way you made King Sombra's purple eye stuff follow behind him. Princess Luna's hair looks epic, and lets not forget Trixie, she looks great and I love that you put the alicorn amulet down in front of Trixie, you can really see that something bad happened/was going to happen so Princess Luna had to step in.

Sombra's ghastly look brings the deathly form of his own appearance. From my past experince, forming a body made strictly from a gaseous mixture is a feat for marvelous artist with outstanding vision. On a satirical note, drawing a person made of clouds who doesn't end up looking like Lumpy Space Princess is a win.
One thing did catch my eye. If memory serves me right, hatred, anger, and sadness fuel dark magic. To see Luna using "pure" magic to save Trixie gives insight on Luna's love and affection of Trixie. If that was your goal, you are truly making friendship magic.
Honestly, I would definitely want to see this battle play out in the series if and when Sombra makes his return all thanks to you.

P.S. I am a bit out of the loop with certain pony pair-ups. The "Trixie x Luna" pair was out of my knowledge and I thank you earnestly for shedding some light on it to me.
